Registration
JCAmp programs are open to all children regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
Within our programs, groups are designed to meet each camper’s needs as an individual and the needs of the program. Placement is based on age, grade, and other factors to create well-balanced groups. While friendship requests are accepted, they are requests only and not guaranteed. Requests must be reciprocal and emailed to JCAmp@jcajax.org two weeks prior to your campers session to be considered in the placement process (not available in Pattycakes, K’Ton, Tovim or Kindercamp).
The JCA reserves the right to change campers’ group placement if placement does not serve the best interests of the individual or group.
JCA Membership is not required. However, JCA members and children currently enrolled in Michele Block Gan Yeladim Preschool & Kindergarten, or for the 2025-26 school year, have priority registration through February 28. Guests are encouraged to submit applications with deposits early to secure a space when general registration opens. In the event space is not available, all monies are refunded.
Registration for all JCAmp programs is required at least three business days prior to the start date. For additional information please contact programregistrar@jcajax.org.

Applicants must be in good financial standing with the JCA to register for JCAmp. All applications must be completed online or submitted to the Program Registrar’s Office.
A nonrefundable, nontransferable $100 deposit per session, regardless of session length, is due at the time of registration. Balances for all camp programs, regardless of session, must be made via auto draft (bank account or credit card) and paid in full by May 2, 2025. The JCA will not guarantee placement if balances are outstanding after that date.

Payments must be made by cash or check only, made payable to JCA. There are no discounts for Pattycakes, K’Ton, Tovim or Kindercamp. This discount does not apply to those receiving financial assistance.
Refunds
While we know plans can change, JCAmp deposits are non-refundable. Refunds of JCAmp program fees will be granted only if the JCA is notified in writing of withdrawal prior to May 2. Notification of withdrawal on or after May 2 will result in the loss of all fees paid.
All changes to registration, including schedules or sessions, must be made in writing and will result in a $15 charge per change payable at the time the change is made.
Financial Aid
Tuition Assistance
Through the generosity of our donors, need-based adjusted fees are available. Full deposits are still required upon registration. Financial Assistance forms, with required documentation including a 2024 tax return, must be received by March 14 to be considered for allocation by April 1. Late applications for tuition assistance are accepted for review provided there are remaining funds.
