The Jewish Community Alliance (JCA) is a non-profit community center affiliated with the Jacksonville Jewish Federation, the United Way of Northeast Florida and the Jewish Community Centers of North America. Our mission is to contribute to the continuation of Jewish life, provide a common meeting ground, strengthen family life and enhance the quality of life for all segments of the community within Jacksonville, Fla. Bookkeeper/Office Assistant

Full Time: Full benefits package including health and dental insurance, HSA, 401(k) and PTO.

Department: Finance

Description:  Experienced with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, adjusting journal entries, payroll and excel is required. The office environment is fun and fast paced, attention to detail is critical. 

Qualifications: 2 Year Accounting degree or comparable experience.

Swim Instructor/Coach

Part Time- Potential to earn up to $24 an hour with group and private lessons.

Department: Aquatics

Description:  Instructor/Coach needed to work with kids and adults. Will work with beginners to more advanced swimmers in our two pools. Flexible hours during daytime and evening available.

Qualifications: American Red Cross Certified Swim Instructor. Minimum 1 year experience.

Lifeguard

Part Time

Department: Aquatics

Description: Guard responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ensuring safety and responding to emergency situations within training scope, swim testing, chemical testing, basic cleaning, reporting to aquatics managers.

Qualifications: American Red Cross Lifeguard Certified and willing to undergo a background check.
