Community Shlichut Program

Community Shlichim, or emissaries, are dedicated individuals from Israel who use unique programming to share their Jewish heritage and knowledge with our community.

Shaliach means “messenger” or “emissary” in Hebrew. We use the plural of the word, shlichim to describe our free Community Shlichim programs brought to the JCA from the Jewish Agency by our partners at the Jewish Federation & Foundation of Northeast Florida. Our current Community Shlicha, Tal Mola, works with a large variety of Jewish agencies throughout Northeast Florida, including our local Synagogues and schools.

Shlichim from Israel serve in Jewish communities all over the United States for two years. In that time they work to actively secure Jewish future by creating programming for our Jacksonville community that is designed to increase Jewish awareness, knowledge and pride. The JCA is thankful to the Jewish Federation & Foundation of Northeast Florida for funding this wonderful program.
