Miriam Walker joined our JCA family in 2022 as our Development Associate under Kendall Sisisky Valliere. Miriam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Southern New Hampshire University. Originally from California, Miriam lived in Guam for two years before moving to Jacksonville in 2012.

Celebrating three years as a fundraising and development professional – and nearly a decade of employment in the nonprofit sector, Miriam has a vast amount of experience in grant writing, revenue generation and donor stewardship.

When she’s not at the JCA, Miriam enjoys spending time with her family; she loves spending time outdoors with her husband, two sons, and their dog.
