Originally from Indiana, Erin Groll-Barrash moved to Jacksonville in 2022 and worked remotely until she was first hired as an After School Counselor and JCAmp Specialist in January 2024.

Promoted to be the Assistant Director of Enrichment in Youth Services in August 2024, Erin loves the opportunity to work hands-on with children while getting to know them through hosting a variety of programs. Erin says with a mix of creativity and fun, working with children at the JCA gives her renewed energy with her career.

Erin holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. When she is not at the JCA planning ways to enrich the children who come here, Erin says she loves traveling and usually can be found hanging out with her dog, Fish, and her husband, Jeffrey.
