Katy Barry
Administrative Coordinator / Theatre
Katy Barry first came to the JCA in 1997 when she performed in our production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Throughout her childhood, Katy participated in the JCA afterschool theatre program and summer camp. During college Katy started working at the JCA as a summer camp counselor and started growing her career on our campus.
Katy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education from the University of North Florida. Following graduation, Katy has worked in a variety of positions in our theatre which include Magic Wardrobe crew at the JCA and working with Shelly on our children’s productions.
In 2017, Katy became the Administrative Coordinator in our Theatre department, which means she handles all the bookings for our Magic Wardrobe shows, and is our point of contact for parents with children in our programs.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her job is connecting with the families who participate in our programs. She loves seeing children who were once campers, grow up and become camp counselors themselves.
Katy loves sharing the JCA with her husband Tyler and their two sons, George and Nicholas, as they get to experience our incredible community too. When she is not at the JCA, Katy and her family can often be found in Disney.
