Overview

The Mensch Program is a JCAmp experience for participants entering 10th grade that is designed to nurture critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity while gaining hands-on practice and earning service hours – check with your school. These skills are vital to social and professional development as a 21st-century leader in camp, and beyond.

Our menschen participate in daily leadership and child development training and shadow seasoned staff in administration, cabin activities, and program areas. Menschen work and grow in a fast-paced environment and team setting while demonstrating responsibility, reliability and dedication to their role. A two-week minimum commitment is required.

JCAmp runs from 9 am – 3:30 pm. Menschen bring a dairy lunch and swimsuit daily. Snack is provided daily.

Please contact JCAmp@jcajax.org with any questions.
