Honoring Israel: TORN

A powerful evening with Nim Shapira, the Israeli film maker whose timely documentary, Torn, explores how the Israel-Gaza conflict spilled into the streets of New York City. Presented in partnership with the Jewish Federation & Foundation of Northeast Florida, this film follows the controversy around the “Kidnapped from Israel” poster campaign. A Q&A session with Nim Shapira as well as the Israeli artists who designed the posters, Nitzan Mintz and Dede Bandaid, will happen after the screening.
