Yalla

Yalla | Week 3 | 6/22 – 6/26

Teens (13-17)

State of the Arts

Florida is a state that is well-known for its artistic communities, murals and museums. We will meet with local artists, visit some of Jacksonville’s premiere galleries and make our own works of art using a variety of mediums. Teen artists can expect to work with acrylic paint, pottery and spray paint as we explore the State of the Arts.

Overview

Join Yalla for an experience like no other. Each day, campers will board JCA transportation to traverse across Northeast Florida in search of excitement. From local attractions to semi-distant adventures, campers are poised to have experiences to remember. Each week includes a volunteer component for campers to earn services hours. Volunteer activities are subject to change. Please know that given the outdoor venues in which many of our activities take place, all heat-related safety precautions are taken.

JCAmp runs from 9:00 am – 3:30 pm. Campers bring a dairy lunch and swimsuit daily. Snack is provided daily.

After our JCAmp morning gathering, the majority of day is spent in Yalla activities offsite. Specific departure and arrival times vary-parents will be notified of any scheduling changes.

Please reach out to the Registrar’s Office, (904) 730-2100 ext. 228,  if you have any questions or need support registering.
