Dealing with Dementia

Overview

Caregiving for those with cognitive impairment is especially challenging. Often, there is a greater need for emotional and social support, improved coping strategies and better information about available services. In this program, staff from River Garden will review dementia basics, discuss tactics for communication, behavior management and safety, and help caregivers find resources, support and solutions.
