Acadia Moore, joined the JCA in 2024, drawn to the values and Reggio Emilia Approach practiced in our Michele Block Gan Yeladim Preschool & Kindergarten. As our Early Childhood Education Afternoon Coordinator, Acadia says she loves the relationships and connections found at the JCA and in our school’s guiding principles.

A graduate of the University of South Florida, with her bachelor’s degree in social work, Acadia has experience in child development, social work, and served as a teacher’s assistant in her previous career.

In her role as Afternoon Coordinator, Acadia constructs provocations and activities for the children in our school to explore after school. The most fulfilling part of her position in our school is offering support and resources to families to help them meet their children’s needs and goals.

When she is not busy at the JCA, Acadia can be found exploring the culinary delights of Jacksonville, getting creative with nail art, and traveling to spend time with her family in Tampa.
