Our Pickleball Pro, Landon Metcalf, joined the JCA family in 2024 with years of experience in Pickleball play and coaching.

When Landon moved to Jacksonville in 2005, he pursued his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Florida.  After graduating he worked as a digital marketer for ad placement and optimization, then moved into account management and strategy development.

Landon worked as a database engineer for two local companies and finished his time in the digital marketing world as a full-stack software engineer.

Landon says he found a new passion in pickleball after marrying his wife, Dr. Ana-Caroline Raulin. He started playing and coaching, and then Landon decided to turn pickleball into his career. Landon loves working with our members of all ages who want to play pickleball and says the work is extremely fulfilling. When Landon is not playing pickleball he is busy nurturing his other hobbies. Landon manages a local chess night every week and is furthering his education in music production.
