We met at Happy Brew to welcome Beth Kander via Zoom and chat about her new book, I Made it Out of Clay. That morning, an engaging discussion transpired about the Jewish themes throughout the book, and what it is like to be a Jewish author at this time.
Save the dates for our next Novel Idea meet-ups! We are headed off campus to visit with authors from the Jewish Book Council. We will be at Delicomb in Jacksonville Beach on Thursday, May 15 from 10 – 11:30 am, to talk about Not Nothing by Gayle Forman.
At the end of our meet-up on May 15, I’ll announce our next book – and want you to mark your calendars for June! We are headed back to San Marco to Bitty & Beau’s Coffee on Wednesday, June 25 from 10 – 11:30 am.
