Lorraine Jenkins has decided to leave her legacy at the JCA because, to Lorraine, the JCA is family. Her involvement in the JCA is not limited to one area of the agency. “I’ve developed my physical strength, broadened my intellect, developed a sense of accomplishment and have opened windows of opportunity here,” she says. The JCA has provided Lorraine with outlets for growth in many ways, and she even credits the JCA and Fitness and Wellness Director Eiffel Gilyana with her remarkable recovery post knee surgery. She is also always excited to learn new things. “Every time I come for a program, I leave feeling enlightened and uplifted. The JCA has enriched my life exponentially, and I truly feel a sense of belonging here.” When asked why she chose to leave a legacy at the JCA, her answer was simple, “It is the place I enjoy and the people I love.” As a member of the JCA Legacy Society, Lorraine Jenkins will make a difference in the JCA and Jacksonville Jewish Community for years to come.
