Navy Commander Alexa Jenkins

CDR Jenkins served on seven different ships in four duty stations and completed five deployments with the Navy. From partnership building to drone intelligence collection and foreign navigation operations to preserve sea plans, as Commanding Officer of the USS Tornado (PC-14) Jenkins was the first Jewish woman to command a warship. From her most recent service as an Executive Officer and Commanding Officer of the USS Carney (DDG-64), Jenkins will also share her experience aboard the destroyer with a crew of 320 people.
