Our next outdoor walk will be Tuesday, October 15 at 9:30 am. We will meet at YMCA Nocatee, 400 Colonnade Dr. There is a very nice, paved trailed behind the building. We will meet in the parking lot. There are restrooms and water fountains in the main building as well as a walk up café.
We invite all walkers, no matter what your pace, to join the JCA Walking Club.
Both walking and running can improve your overall health, including lowering blood pressure, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease, improving sleep, improving mental health, reducing body fat and improving immune system function. Walking is a low impact exercise suitable for all levels. Over time, you will build speed and endurance.
